Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester
Ideally located close to London and the Channel ports. Medway is a great place to base yourself for sightseeing in London and the South East of England.
MEDWAY is a vibrant, thriving destination offering an enriching experience for visits to the area.
Medway takes its name from the magnificent River Medway that for thousands of years has linked the historic towns of Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham and Strood.
Steeped in history, with a maritime and military heritage dating back to 1559 there is plenty of things to see and do. Of course, we cannot forget one of Britain’s greatest novelist and story tellers, Charles Dickens also lived in Medway as a child and returned in later life to continue writing his novels.
